By virtue of the purity of its vapor, the Herbalizer is one of the finest vaporizers known to man. The unit is sleek and minimalistic, like something Apple would release if they started making vaporizers. And that quality presents itself in the vapor--especially when you steamroll using the new glass attachment.
The Herbalizer offers a seamless vaping experience that can be customized as you go. First you choose between the Vaportherapy (for vaping) or Aromatherapy setting. Once you hit that button, the unit will heat up to whichever temperature you were set on last time you vaped. You’ll notice things start to heat up very quickly. It doesn’t take long for the Herbalizer to send flavor-rich vapor billowing up from the output nozzle.
You can set the temperature on your Herbalizer to a heat that’s ideal for whatever you’re vaporizing (the Herbalizer vapes herb, but does well with wax and oils, too). A colorful LCD display shows the current temperature, which can be toggled via buttons or the screen itself.
Once you get the Herbalizer up and running, attaching the glass steamroller is easy. You simply rest the pipe down over the top of the protruding nozzle, where it fits snugly. From there, you can operate the Herbalizer with or without the fan on, though your rips through the glass attachment will be fuller faster with the fan running.
The glass attachment comes with a carb hole on the side to be held down while vapor fills the pipe and released as you draw, giving you more airflow when you take rips. The vapor is lighter than when vaping from a balloon bag or whip, but the flavor is noticeably cleaner. This is partly due to the fact that vapor picks up some of the “flavor” of the material it’s exposed to, which is why balloon bag or whip vaping can give you a flavor tasting slightly less pure. Glass is inert, and therefore gives off no residual taste when you vape with it.
The Herbalizer’s way of presenting herb, wax, and oil just as they should taste is also thanks to the unit’s very efficient vaporization and accurate temperature settings. By heating contents at precisely the correct temperature for vaporization, below the combustion point, and never exposing them to close contact with the heating source, the Herbalizer produces vapor which is free of any burnt taste or smokiness.
